Parks & Recreation Fund

Enhancing and appreciating our parks in Kirkland were the core ideas during the inception of our Foundation. Parks and recreational activities promote health and wellness, provide open space for current and future generations to enjoy, and lead to healthier individuals and ultimately healthier communities. Access to parks and recreation activities are critical to our development, and parks play an essential role in what makes our community great. They help us preserve natural resources, wildlife habitats, clean water, and clean air. Kirkland is known for our outstanding parks and amazing recreational opportunities, and Parks and Recreation are a core focus area for KPCF, now and into the future.
